User Account Roles: Complete List of Tools Available to Each User Type

Roles: Admin, Billing Manager, and Technicians

The following user-role designations control access within the NextCentury system: Admin, Developer, Accountant, Technician, Billing Manager, and Property Operator.

User-Types Hierarchy

Access to tools, features, and information, are increased from the lower levels up toward full access at the Admin-level.

*Developer and Accountant user-types have access to additional tools associated with their role.

Note:

The "Endorsed Technician" user-type is a grouping designation to which different settings can be applied. The permissions are otherwise identical to the Technician user-type.

Typically this grouping is used by listing employees that work for the billing company as "Technicians" and listing outside independent contractors as "Endorsed Technicians."

System Interface: All user-types have account access to the Web Portal and Mobile App. Tools and features within either interface are limited by the user's role within the company or a specific property-listing which is being viewed.

User-Roles Per Property: Note that user-permissions can vary for a single user if permission designations have been set at a property level. For example, a single user could be an Admin on "Property A" and a Technician on "Property B."

*Feature depends on configuration set by the property's billing company

Regarding Group AccessA user may have access to a property because their company has been granted Group Access to that specific property. The user-type permission on that property will be at a Technician or Billing Manager-level as designated when the Group Access was granted. This will be regardless of the user-type that this user typically has.
