CS201 & ST201 Overview and Documents

The CS201 Coupling Set can be used along with the ST201 Spacer Tube during initial plumbing installation. When the plumbing has been completed and the lines have been flushed, the Spacer Tube is removed and replaced with the M201 water meter (also compatible with other 7.5" water meters with 1" thread).

The CS201 Coupling is not mandatory for the M201 water meter, but it's important to note that not all third-party coupling products may be compatible with the M201 meter. Although the ST201 Spacer Tube is not required, it is highly recommended for new plumbing installations. This is because debris commonly found in water supply lines during installation can potentially obstruct a water meter's flow chamber, hindering its functionality. The use of a spacer tube facilitates the flushing of lines, ensuring proper operation of the water meter after installation. Importantly, the ST201 Spacer Tube is versatile and can be employed as a temporary spacing tube for standard 7.5" long meters, even if the NextCentury water meter is not being utilized.
