ST201 Spacer Tube

Temporary spacer tube for flushing new plumbing before the water meter is installed.

The ST201 Spacer Tube holds the place of the water meter during initial plumbing installation. When the plumbing has been completed and the lines have been flushed, the Spacer Tube is removed and replaced with the water meter, such as the M201 Series Water Meter or any other 7.5" water meter with 1" thread.

Although the ST201 Spacer Tube is not required, it is highly recommended for new plumbing installations. Debris commonly found in water supply lines during installation can obstruct a water meter's flow chamber and keep it from working properly. The Spacer Tube lets you flush the lines first, so the water meter works properly once it's installed.

The ST201 Spacer Tube can be used as a temporary spacer for any standard 7.5" long water meter, even if you aren't using the M201.

The ST201 was originally paired with the CS201 Coupling Set, which has been replaced by the MTW CPL Poly 07520.
